Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) in a remote US role.

You will lead regional planning, engagement with national and regional thought leaders, and non-promotional disease-state education prior to approval, with launch responsibilities after approval. You will build trusted relationships, translate insights into regional plans, and coordinate with MSLs and Marketing to optimize education programs and referral pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical/scientific/public health or business degree preferred.
• At least eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience (field marketing, TLL, market development, or similar).
• Experience with rare/ultra-rare disease, neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics, or diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to operate independently in a field role with limited franchise support.
• Strong clinical and scientific fluency for credible disease-state discussions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional plan aligned with national launch priorities.
• Map institutions and thought leaders and optimize diagnosis, testing, referral, and treatment pathways.
• Collaborate with MSLs on shared thought leaders and scientific needs; support regional education and market development.
• Lead regional thought-leader engagement programs and coordinate with Marketing for non-promotional-to-promotional transitions.
