Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Neurology Rare Disease.

This senior, field-based role partners with Marketing and Medical Affairs to engage national and regional thought leaders, support education, and help shape regional launch readiness. You will translate insights into regional plans, develop disease-education programs prior to approval, and oversee non-promotional activities that build trust with investigators and centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical/scientific/public health or business degree preferred.
• Eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical field experience including TLL, market development or similar roles.
• Experience in neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics, or diagnostics is highly preferred.
• Pre-launch and launch experience with independent operation is essential.
• Strong clinical and scientific fluency for credible discussions with senior specialists.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional plan aligned with national strategy and launch priorities.
• Map priority institutions, thought leaders, and referral relationships.
• Coordinate with MSLs on shared thought leaders and scientific needs.
• Lead non-sales education programs and engage with thought leaders and centers.
• Translate aggregate insights into regional business plans and actions.
