Job summary

University of South Carolina seeks an Associate Director of Individual Services to lead well-being initiatives for students on campus. The role provides strategic direction for evidence-based programs, including Wellness Coaching and collegiate recovery efforts.

The position requires 3+ years in related roles and a bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred. You’ll work in a collaborative, engaging environment on the Columbia, SC campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree and 5+ years in well-being management preferred.
  • Experience with collegiate recovery initiatives and college health settings is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Report and publicize Well-being progress toward university objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with university priorities.
  • Build relationships with students, administrators, faculty, staff and partners.
