Job summary

The University of South Carolina seeks an Associate Director of Individual Services to lead wellbeing initiatives and support student success through evidence-based strategies, including Wellness Coaching, BASICS, and Gamecock Recovery. • Master's degree and 5 years experience in well-being management.
• Experience with collegiate recovery initiatives and college health settings.
• CHES and/or wellness coaching certification, or willing and eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables; oversee day-to-day operations of the team providing individual services.
• Provide leadership and supervision to student and professional staff, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
• Manage, report, and publicize Student Well-being's progress toward unit, divisional, and university objectives.
• Work with department leadership to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with university priorities.
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
