Job summary

Penn State University’s Carlisle campus is seeking an Associate Director of Student Affairs to lead event programming, support RSOs and the SBA, and coordinate essential student services with a focus on wellness, inclusion, and belonging.

The role partners with campus leaders to advance retention initiatives, manage budgets, and drive scalable programs across campuses, including NSO, commencement, awards events, and leadership training for student organizations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in student affairs, student services, or admissions.
• Experience or potential in presentations, student support, student life and activities, and event support.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Student Affairs event programming and wellness events.
• Support NSO, commencement, awards events, and related communications.
• Coach and train student organization leaders; support SBA and RSOs.
• Direct student services, accommodations, and retention initiatives across Carlisle campuses.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, and assessment for ongoing programming.
