Job summary

Braven seeks an Associate Director, Strategic Operations to drive organizational progress reporting and cross-functional collaboration. You will design the operational rhythm, own progress updates for boards and staff, and coordinate with Product, Systems, and External Affairs leaders.

You’ll lead knowledge management and support strategy-facing teams across the organization. The role emphasizes strong writing, process design, and the ability to operate in ambiguity while maintaining discretion

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field or work experience that demonstrates quantitative analysis
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience writing and presenting data-driven narratives for internal and external audiences
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and improve the infrastructure to prepare progress updates for stakeholders
• Package quarterly progress-to-goal memos for Braven’s national board and leadership
• Draft region-specific progress updates for regional board meetings
• Prepare regular updates to leadership and staff on organizational priorities
• Pull, analyze, and visualize data to support progress monitoring
• Build relationships with executive owners of priorities
• Serve as thought partner on org-wide progress monitoring questions
• Act as trusted liaison to Product, Systems, and External Affairs leaders
• Design and run regular central team to regional team feedback structures
• Support councils (Data Governance, AI Advisory, Labor Market & Economic Advisory)
• Own the coordinated operational rhythm of the two halves of the team
• Plan team meetings from agenda to follow-up
• Manage knowledge for the Strategy side of the team
• Lead or support capacity-building projects for the Strategy side
