Job summary

Deloitte US seeks a Firm Enterprise Solutions Associate Director, Controllership to support accounting policy, transaction review, and financial reporting across the US Firms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• CPA required.
• 8+ years of controllership, corporate accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
• Experience applying US GAAP.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Ability to travel 0-10%, based on client needs.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the global platform enabling financial reporting for Deloitte US entities.
• Lead the financial reporting team producing consolidated and subsidiary statements and statutory reporting.
• Discuss accounting concepts with senior management for presentation in statements.
• Assist Managing Director - Financial Reporting on special projects and present results to leadership.
• Develop and design new financial statements or reports (GAAP, GSA) as needed.
• Prepare analyses of partners' capital.
• Respond to ad-hoc and special reporting requests.
• Improve reporting processes with standardization, optimization, and AI enablement.
• Drive transformation initiatives and lead change management for new processes and tools.
• Understand Deloitte Firms' complex infrastructure and reporting requirements.
• Support end-to-end SAP G/L accounting processes and testing of modifications.
• Emphasize internal controls, process improvement, automation, and stakeholder training.
• Manage multiple organization structures and master data with Controllers and FP&A across US Firms.
