Job summary

Tusculum University invites applications for the position of Associate Director of Student Support Services (SSS) and Director of Cornerstone. This 12-month, full‑time, exempt role oversees the Cornerstone Summer Bridge Program and provides year‑round academic support for at‑risk students, supervising faculty, staff, and peer tutors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, educational psychology, higher education, student personnel or related field.
• Experience with disadvantaged and academically underprepared students and advising.
• Preference for TRIO programs experience or higher education administration or program planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Cornerstone program and supervise mentors and tutors.
• Hire, train, and manage peer mentors and study skills tutors.
• Maintain program and student records and coordinate schedules.
• Promote program visibility across campus and collaborate with campus partners.
• Serve as liaison between Cornerstone and SSS.
• Teach a leadership course and provide academic coaching.
