Job summary

Raytheon’s Naval Systems & Sustainment division seeks an Associate Director of Program Management to lead the Ship Systems Integration portfolio, including major class programs. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, strategic growth planning and the ability to manage multi-hundred million dollar contracts.

The position is onsite at multiple facilities (Portsmouth RI, Tewksbury MA, Chesapeake VA, Crystal City VA) with relocation not available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Prior program management / leadership management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Finance, etc.).
• Strong customer relationship experience (Internal & External).
• Program Management Level 5 Certification or equivalent.
• Strong Financial and Business acumen; P&L experience.
• Experience with Proposal and Basis of Estimates (BOE) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establish program plans, metrics, schedules, budgets, and lead the PMT to ensure on-time contractual execution.
• Manage Raytheon command media compliance and RLPM gating requirements; approvals and reviews.
• Align all functions (program, finance, quality, logistics, operations) to meet commitments.
• Identify risks and opportunities and maintain a live risk register.
• Drive empowerment and a motivated team to meet customer commitments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic opportunities and proposals.
