Job summary

Animal Care & Control Of NYC is seeking an Associate Director of Revenue Administration to oversee philanthropic revenue, grants, and restricted funds. The role focuses on cash management, reporting integrity, and cross‑functional collaboration with program leaders and the clinic and shelter teams.

The position requires seven+ years in accounting/finance, solid grant management experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including AR and grant management.
• Experience managing grants or restricted funds and reporting to funders.
• Experience reviewing revenue, deposits, and cash handling across multiple locations.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP system.
• Attention to detail, organizational ability, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Integrity and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead reconciliation of philanthropy revenue with Finance records and bank activity.
• Oversee grant accounting and monitor restricted funds.
• Review grant agreements for financial restrictions and reporting deadlines.
• Meet monthly with program leaders to review revenue and expenses.
• Prepare schedules and supporting docs for annual audit.
• Assist with month-end/year-end close and budget analyses.
