Job summary

Barings is seeking an Associate Director level professional to join Global Client Operations in overseeing accounting for private real estate investments and providing robust client reporting. The role partners with portfolio management and investment analysts to ensure timely, accurate financials and insightful metrics.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience (Big 4 public accounting preferred).
• Experience in real estate fund accounting and financial statement prep is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting fiduciary responsibilities for private investments in real estate.
• Review and maintain partnership waterfalls for JV and Fund level entities.
• Maintain GL and sub-ledgers; prepare and review trial balances.
• Perform quarterly close and manage client deliverables timing/quality.
• Coordinate capital calls and distributions; work with investment teams.
