Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director, Quantitative System Pharmacology (QSP) to advance Model-informed Drug Development across preclinical, translational, and clinical phases for autoimmune and inflammation biologics.
You will develop and execute fit-for-purpose QSP and (m)PBPK models, support simulations, and collaborate with biology, chemistry, and pharmacology teams to accelerate program progression and clearly communicate modeling insights.
Role: Associate Director, Quantitative System Pharmacology (QSP), contributing to Model-informed Drug Development (MIDD) strategies across preclinical, translational, and clinical phases for autoimmune and inflammation biologics.
Responsibilities: develop and execute fit-for-purpose QSP and (m)PBPK models, support simulation efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, chemistry, pharmacology), and communicate modeling insights to accelerate program progression.
Qualifications: PhD with 6+ years in QSP, (m)PBPK, or related fields, with hands-on proficiency in MATLAB/Simbiology, R, GastroPlus, or similar software. Experience with therapeutic antibodies and biologics is essential, with demonstrated success in preclinical, translational, and clinical pharmacology.
High-value specifics: focus on autoimmune/inflammation indications, biologics modalities, and mechanistic modeling support.
Work setup: hybrid in Waltham, MA, or remote with travel to headquarters as needed. The role requires strong communication skills, proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
