Job summary

The Bridge is seeking a Property Management leader in Manhattan, NY to oversee Leasing and Compliance teams and ensure accurate rent calculations and timely recertifications for LIHTC properties. You will coordinate with facilities, maintain software systems, and drive tenant engagement.

You will lead training, manage relationships with tenants and agencies, and ensure high rent collection while supporting subsidies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; extensive relevant work experience considered.
• LIHTC Certification required or preferred.
• HOTMA regulation training completed.
• HPD Marketing knowledge or certification beneficial.
• Experience with HDC Guidelines, submission and reporting.
• Experience with One Site, Housing Connect, AWARDS database.
• Syndicator coordination for initial and recertification file reviews.
• Social service property management experience preferred; supportive housing knowledge valued.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel within Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Leasing and Compliance Managers and the Property Administrators.
• Oversee tracking and processing tenant leases and rent calculations.
• Manage annual tenant recertification for LIHTC apartments and subsidies.
• Partner with facilities to maintain Bridge properties.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
• Provide guidance, training and leadership to the Property Management Team.
• Oversee RealPage Onsite to coordinate rental and recertification processes.
• Grow the property management software usage with plans and trainings.
• Ensure a high percentage of rent collection from tenants.
• Provide documentation for rental arrears assistance.
• Maintain relationships with governmental agencies and tax credit syndicators.
• Attend and present at monthly intake, facilities and occupancy meetings; follow up on PM concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
