Job summary

Essence Mediacom, a leading WPP Media brand, is seeking an Associate Director of Planning to supervise all client implementation needs and coordinate with global marketing teams.

You will oversee the client implementation team, manage staffing and workloads, and ensure integration of ideas between creative and media while delivering 360 media plans. A bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years in planning are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications; OR equivalent professional work experience.
• 5-8 years of account planning or related media/communications planning experience, with a focus on team leadership and management.
• Experience and comfort facilitating ideation sessions; strong client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all implementation needs and client communications across teams.
• Coordinate with global marketing teams to align international strategies.
• Oversee the client implementation team, manage staffing and workload issues.
• Provide strategic rigor to implement ideas and ensure integration of work between creative and media.
• Demonstrate strong 360 media planning capabilities and clear client presentations.
