Texans Together seeks an Associate Director, Permanency to lead Adoption Preparation Specialists working to secure safe, stable, nurturing permanent homes for children legally free for adoption.

You will provide leadership, coaching, and case consultation to ensure readiness for adoption, addressing separation, loss, and attachment while promoting collaboration with families, partners, and communities.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of conservatorship and permanency planning.
• Experience in adoption preparation procedures and home studies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and lead staff toward excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a unit of Adoption Preparation staff to achieve positive permanency outcomes.
• Provide ongoing coaching, supervision, and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on resilience and improvement.
• Develop individualized permanency plans recognizing each child’s strengths and needs.
• Oversee matching children with adoptive families and monitoring caseloads.
