We are seeking anAssociate Director, Search & Socialto lead the development, execution, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms. This includes Google Ads, Facebook Ads, retail media networks like Walmart Connect and Instacart, and other bidding-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic planning abilities, campaign execution skills, and a proven background in managing "biddable media" campaigns through self-serve platforms. This role is remote/hybrid, with headquarters based in New York City.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their target audience, marketing objectives, and budget constraints.
  • Develop tailored biddable media strategies, including keyword research, audience segmentation, and platform recommendations.
  • Establish campaign goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.

Campaign Implementation

  • Build and manage paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Create and optimize paid social media campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Develop and execute product-focused campaigns on retail media networks like Walmart Connect and Instacart.
  • Adjust bids, budgets, and campaign structures based on data insights.
  • Develop and refine ad copy and creative assets to ensure high performance.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor key performance metrics, including impressions, clicks, conversions, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust campaigns accordingly.
  • Implement A/B testing and conversion incrementality tests to optimize performance and inform the right channel mix.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Create detailed performance reports with actionable insights for clients.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and new bidding strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 6-9 years of overall experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on paid media.
  • 2+ years of agency experienceat a hands-on level.
  • 3+ years managing and mentoring teamsfocused on search and social (biddable media).
  • Expertise in major biddable platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and others.
  • Experience managing conversion-focused campaigns across multiple platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective campaign strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting campaign performance and insights to clients and stakeholders.
