AbbVie seeks an Associate Director, Business Insights Lead to act as a strategic analytics partner across Oncology/SMAO and Neuroscience/SSU. You will own portfolio-level insights, translate complex questions into data-driven analyses, and inform senior leadership decisions on site strategy, study design, and resource allocation.

The role requires 10+ years in business analytics/strategy, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Finance, Analytics, Business or related quantitative field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, strategy, or a related client-facing analytical role
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships (Director/Sr. Director level or above) and delivering findings to executive audiences
• Strong analytical and strategic decision-support skills with the ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; distill complex analyses for non-technical audiences
• Experience with data analytics/visualization tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel)
• Experience managing multiple workstreams across therapeutic areas or stakeholder groups
• Familiarity with clinical trial operations, drug development, or R&D processes

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary SABI point of contact to Oncology/SMAO Sr. Directors and CSL leadership
• Lead portfolio-level insights from hypothesis to recommendations
• Own analytical products for Oncology/SMAO (site ID, country/site benchmarking, enrollment planning)
• Provide analytics support to Neuroscience/SSU as capacity allows
• Translate business needs into scoped analytical workstreams
• Influence executive decisions with tailored communications
• Identify gaps and risks in portfolios for leadership review
• Collaborate across CAP functions to reuse analytical approaches
• Support enterprise-wide CDO initiatives and mentor junior staff
• Balance stakeholder requests with high-impact, complex analyses across portfolios
