NC State University seeks an Associate Director of Transfer in Undergraduate Admissions to lead transfer recruitment, evaluate credentials and oversee Wolfpack Connect. In this role you will lead NC State’s efforts to recruit, admit and enroll transfer students, developing strategies, partnerships and pathways that support annual transfer enrollment goals and align with University priorities. As a part of our recruitment team, you will travel and represent the Office of Undergraduate Admissions extensively, presenting information and guidance to students, families and key stakeholders, including high school counselors, transfer advisers, North Carolina Community College partners and University faculty and staff.
You will also provide strategic and operational leadership for Wolfpack Connect, a guaranteed transfer admission program at NC State. Responsibilities include managing community college partnerships, communicating with prospective and program participants, evaluating and making decisions on students’ eligibility, overseeing the transition of participants into the transfer admission pipeline and promoting the program to internal and external audiences.
As Associate Director of Transfer you will also review transfer applicant credentials and make admissions decisions, working closely with the Undergraduate Admissions operations team to ensure decisions are accurately processed and released. The role provides leadership and training to staff involved in transfer application review and communicates admissions policies and procedures to key stakeholders. This role combines recruitment strategy, partnership development, student engagement and admissions expertise, with extensive travel throughout North Carolina.
