Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS) supports the full life cycle of students by delivering vital, student-centered services that foster access, reduce barriers, facilitate successful transitions, and support student achievement from initial inquiry through graduation and beyond. EMAS provides students, families, university leaders, faculty, and staff with the expertise, information, resources, and guidance needed to navigate the university successfully. Guided by its mission, “Your Path. Our Purpose.,” EMAS strives to be a trusted institutional partner and national leader in enrollment management and student services. Through expert support, exceptional service, innovative technology, and data-informed decision-making, the division creates pathways to transformative educational experiences and empowers lifelong success. EMAS provides strategic leadership for recruiting, enrolling, supporting, retaining, and graduating students in alignment with NC State’s strategic priorities and enrollment goals. The division’s programs, services, technologies, and operations influence student access and success, academic progress, time to degree, institutional effectiveness, and the overall student experience. EMAS also provides the enrollment expertise, data, analysis, and long-range planning necessary to inform institutional strategy, assess capacity, anticipate emerging trends, and support effective university decision-making. The work of EMAS is grounded in its core values of communication, effectiveness, innovation, integrity, service, and teamwork. Through collaboration across academic and administrative units, the division promotes organizational excellence, continuous improvement, responsible stewardship, and responsive, high-quality service to students, families, and the university community. EMAS includes Undergraduate Admissions; Scholarships and Financial Aid; Registration and Records; the Student Services Center; Enrollment Systems and Operations; Enrollment Data and Analytics; EMAS Marketing and Communications; Community College Collaboration (C3); the Goodnight Scholars Program; and Parents and Families Services. The division includes approximately 125 permanent employees, as well as student employees, University Ambassadors, temporary staff, and other personnel who support its mission and operations. EMAS collaborates extensively with NC State’s academic colleges and administrative divisions and represents the university in enrollment-related matters with the University of North Carolina System. The division also cultivates strategic partnerships with the North Carolina Community College System and its constituent institutions, schools, educational organizations, government agencies, and other external partners.

The Senior Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Services reports directly to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and serves as the university’s chief enrollment officer. As a member of the Provost’s senior leadership team, the Senior Vice Provost provides strategic and operational leadership for the university’s enrollment enterprise and advises university leadership regarding enrollment strategy, student access and success, enrollment trends, institutional capacity, and the policies, resources, technologies, and services necessary to achieve NC State’s long-term goals. In this role, you will shape how NC State responds to a changing enrollment landscape. You will bring together academic, financial, operational, and student perspectives to anticipate emerging challenges and opportunities, navigate complex decisions, and build alignment around strategies that advance sustainable enrollment and student success. Your leadership will translate changing student demand and educational needs into action, expanding access to an NC State education, supporting student success, and advancing the university’s land‑grant mission.
