Northwestern Mutual in Downtown San Diego is seeking an Associate Director of Recruiting to lead recruitment for Financial Advisors. This role is 100% on site in our Downtown office, with occasional flexibility to WFH if needed, reporting to the Chief Recruiting Officer.

You’ll drive the recruiting plan, source top talent, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure smooth transitions and program participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of work experience in a professional environment, ideally in sales or agency recruiting.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute Downtown San Diego office recruiting plan to meet activity and productivity goals.
• Source talent for the financial advisor role.
• Calendar initial and subsequent interviews for candidates.
• Leverage social media, job postings and referrals to grow the firm.
• Collaborate with full-time recruiters to onboard new talent.
• Assist candidates in onboarding and training.
• Prepare recruiting materials for interviews.

The Associate Director of Recruiting provides support for all recruiting efforts for the Northwestern Mutual Downtown San Diego office. This position involves performing a variety of functions that allow the recruiting teams to effectively attract, recruit and onboard Financial Advisors. The Associate Director of Recruiting has an overall understanding of the recruitment and on-boarding process for full-time candidates. This position requires a high degree of goal orientation, organization, attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. This role reports directly to the Chief Recruiting Officer.

**This role is 100% on site in our Downtown office, with occasional flexibility to WFH if needed**

• Base salary commensurate to experience - $75-80k range
• Uncapped bonuses - typically additional 20-25% on top of base salary for achieving goals - OTE $95-100k
