Cresset is growing and seeks an Associate Director, Organic Content & Growth (SEO & GEO/AEO) to lead content and organic growth initiatives. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO content, organic growth, editorial, or a related marketing role.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with recent experience personally creating long-form and digital content.
• Strong hands-on SEO experience, including keyword research, search intent, content optimization, internal linking, and performance analysis.
• Working knowledge of GEO/AEO and how content is increasingly discovered and cited through AI-powered search experiences.
• Proven experience creating and optimizing content that drives measurable organic traffic, engagement, leads, or other business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to take content from research and brief development through writing, optimization, publishing, and performance measurement.
• Experience managing content production workflows and collaborating with agencies, consultants, or external partners.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO and performance tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and experimentation is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Personally write, edit, optimize, and refresh high-quality content across thought leadership, educational articles, website content, landing pages, and other digital assets.
• Develop and manage SEO-driven content plans, editorial calendars, and content workflows that support organic growth and lead generation.
• Conduct keyword, search intent, competitive, and content gap research and translate insights into content briefs and finished content.
• Partner with internal subject matter experts to turn complex financial topics into clear, engaging content.
• Partner with external SEO consultants to identify opportunities, develop content briefs, and execute content initiatives.
• Identify and execute opportunities to increase off-site visibility and authority through third-party profile optimization, industry rankings, guest articles, interviews, publisher placements, citations, and brand mentions.
