Job summary

Viona Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a senior accounting professional to manage A/R, A/P, chargebacks, rebates and inventory accounting. The role requires strong SAP skills and extensive experience in the US pharmaceutical sector.

You will run daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple systems, ensure compliance with SOPs, and oversee the general ledger close. Advanced MS Office proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage A/R, A/P, chargebacks, customer fees, rebates and inventory accounting.
• Run daily and monthly reports to track submissions and reconcile data across SAP, iContract and 3PL.
• Ensure QC over financial transactions by following SOPs and processes.
• Oversee general ledger functions and the month/quarter/year-end close process.
• Manage cash flow and payments.
• Perform other related accounting duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage accounting operations related to A/R, A/P, Chargebacks, Customer’s Fees, Rebates and Inventory Accounting.
• Run daily and monthly reports to facilitate submissions tracking, validation and data reconciliation between various software reports (iContract Vs SAP Vs 3PL).
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions by following related SOPs and processes.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-quarter-year end close process
• Manage cash flow and payments.
• Any other related job functions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of GTN
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Excellent SAP skills
• Strong knowledge of systems and processes in Finance domain.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP system
• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance, or similar field
• Master degree preferred, but not required
• Around 10 years of experience in US Pharma Industry
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office suite
