Job summary

Cesna Recruitment seeks an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting, P&L and balance sheet activities. The role includes AP/AR, gross-to-net calculations, journal entries, and period-end closing in a US GAAP/IFRS environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, familiarity with SOX, audits, and SAP, and is proficient in Microsoft Office. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, with strong attention to detail and bilingual Korean/English abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Experience in Gross to Net preferred.
• Experience in SOX, audits, financial/accounting systems including SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities related to general accounting, P&L and balance sheet, AP and AR.
• Gross-To-Net deductions, including chargebacks, admin fees and rebates calculations.
• Prepare various sales reports for submission to external parties.
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments for period-end closing, including inventory accounting, lease accounting.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Analyze accounts; partner with Sales team and others.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute improvement projects.
• Support internal controls, compliance and external audits.
• Assist in system changes and internal control programs.
• Assist in ad hoc initiatives.

Reporting to the Finance Director responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Finance and Accounting function including managing general accounting, P&L and balance sheet activities, financial analysis, financial reporting, interact with internal and external partners and stakeholders to support the Finance and Accounting activities.
