Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience developing, implementing, coordinating, or leading educational, mentoring, engagement, retention, leadership development, peer educator, or student success initiatives for college students.
• Experience coordinating programs, initiatives, partnerships, or student support efforts within higher education.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in higher education settings, including supervision of professional staff, student staff, peer educators, interns, graduate assistants, or other student leadership positions.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight for the Office of Mentoring Programs under the direction of the Executive Director for Student Retention & Success.
• Leads day-to-day operations, supervising professional and student staff and managing departmental resources.
• Collaborates with academic colleges, student support areas, and campus partners to strengthen mentoring practices and peer educator development.
• Serves as the department's lead for university-wide mentoring consultation, mentoring assessment, and cross-campus initiatives.
