Job summary

USDM Life Sciences is seeking an Associate Director of Medical Content to drive strategy across the FTP therapeutic area. You’ll partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver medical content and strategic training for medical communications and field resources.

You will apply digital technologies and AI to enhance content, manage projects within budget, and align with regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes independence with strategic coordination with the US Medical Content

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience at a pharmaceutical company or a medical communications agency.
• 3+ years in Medical Affairs, including roles in a medical communications function.
• Proven experience leading individuals and cross-functional teams.
• Track record implementing medical communications and congress programs, including omnichannel communication and digital channels/tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work across diverse therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to agile planning, development, and implementation of medical communication plans and content generation for assigned brands.
• Drive the design and development of scientific training content for US Medical teams, including MSLs and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to reflect latest scientific data and align with objectives.
• Regularly update content to incorporate advancements in therapeutic areas and products.
• Monitor learning outcomes through assessments to ensure program effectiveness.
• Utilize AI and digital-enabled approaches to support efficiency.
• Manage delivery so medical communications projects stay on strategy, within budget, and on time.
• Maintain strong communication channels to meet stakeholder needs.
