Job summary

The New York Philharmonic is seeking an Associate Director, Media Production to lead the day-to-day operations behind a wide range of media initiatives, from digital content to broadcasts. Based at David Geffen Hall in New York, this onsite role requires collaboration across teams, strong project management, and experience with media rights, assets, and licensing.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital asset management systems and media contracts.
• Knowledge of classical music.
• Familiarity with royalty and media payment processes.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency with ArtsVision or similar systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts Administration is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple media projects from planning through delivery and clearance.
• Coordinate resources, permissions, equipment, and personnel across teams.
• Oversee media rights clearances, licensing, royalties, and revenue-sharing.
• Supervise weekly radio broadcasts' administration.
• Develop and maintain asset tracking and licensing records.
• Coordinate media activity with Lincoln Center and external partners.
• Assist with budgeting and identifying equipment needs.
• Supervise and coordinate media production team members.
