The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts Philly (POEA) seeks an Associate Production Manager for Marian Anderson Hall to oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of orchestral productions. You will manage production staff, coordinate logistics, and liaise with artists, leadership, and partners to deliver exceptional events.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in technical theater or related field and 3+ years in theatrical management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical theater, stage management or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in theatrical management in a similar environment required.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary art forms required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Operations and Production Manager to plan, advance, and execute technical, operational, and logistical requirements of orchestra productions.
  • Serve as the primary production liaison for resident company partners, ensuring seamless coordination and successful execution of performances, rehearsals, and events.
  • Lead production operations for rehearsals, performances, and special events, supervising crews, stage operations, and workflows to maintain high standards.
  • Manage production planning and financial administration, including labor forecasting, budgets, estimates, documentation, and final settlements.
