Job summary

The New York Philharmonic seeks an Associate Director, Media Production to lead day-to-day operations behind a wide range of media initiatives, from digital content to licensing and archival work. This new role shapes how media production operates and collaborates with creative and operational teams.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Touring and Media Production, you will manage projects, rights clearances, asset management, and coordinate with Lincoln Center and other partners, while supporting

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience with digital asset management and media contracts.
• Knowledge of classical music and media payment processes is preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills for fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple media projects from planning through production, rights clearance, approvals, delivery and follow-up.
• Coordinate media needs across teams, securing people, permissions, equipment, and resources.
• Oversee media rights clearances, licensing requests, royalties and revenue sharing.
• Supervise administrative elements of weekly radio broadcasts.
• Develop systems for tracking media assets, contracts, licenses and payments.
• Oversee media asset management to ensure secure storage and accessibility.
• Coordinate media activity with Lincoln Center and external partners as needed.
• Support departmental budgeting and identify equipment and capital needs.
• Supervise and coordinate members of the media production team.
