Job summary

Seattle University’s Career and Professional Development (CPD) team seeks an Associate Director to support law students and alumni pursuing private practice paths, JD Advantage roles, and in-house positions. You will lead outreach to firms, coordinate interview programs, and develop essential career resources for student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Exceptional written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lead in large groups and deliver public presentations.
• Program management experience.
• Self-motivation and teamwork in a dynamic environment.
• Evening and weekend event participation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support students and alumni pursuing private practice and JD Advantage roles.
• Serve as CPD’s principal contact for private law firms and organizations.
• Coordinate interview programs throughout the year and Summer Associate events.
• Develop career resources, resumes, cover letters, and networking materials.
• Document counseling notes in Symplicity and track employment data.
