Santa Clara University is seeking an Associate Director, Leadership Giving for the School of Education and Counseling Psychology. The role focuses on growing donor pipelines with gifts from $10,000 to $99,999, managing a large prospect portfolio, and developing strategies with internal teams.

The position offers a hybrid schedule and requires 4–6 years of fundraising experience, with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 4–6 years of related fundraising experience; 3–5 years in development or transferable skills.
• Higher education experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement and solicitation strategies for leadership giving prospects ($10,000–$99,999).
• Manage a portfolio of 150–200 leadership giving prospects with monthly visits to qualify, engage, solicit, and steward donors.
• Solicit prospects to meet annual dollar and activity targets with the Senior Executive Director.
• Develop an annual fundraising plan with targets and milestones; report progress regularly.
• Collaborate with Prospect Management and Analytics to maintain an active portfolio.
• Engage the Dean to introduce key prospects at events or meetings with briefings and follow-up.
• Produce timely follow-up and correspondence such as proposals and thank-you notes.
• Track activities in CLARA CRM and report results to the Senior Executive Director.
• Collaborate with the Office of Development to maintain a positive, professional environment.
• Create and execute a strategy to enhance the School’s reputation; support Advisory Board fundraising.
