Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking an Associate Director, HR- Procurement & Quality in Chicago. The role provides strategic HR leadership to the NA procurement and quality leadership teams, focusing on people development, talent pipelines, organization design, and change management.

Hybrid position with three onsite days at Aon Center. The candidate will lead a team of HR managers, drive cultural initiatives, and partner with senior leaders to align staffing and capability with business goals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of dynamic Human Resource experience, including 5+ years in an HR business partnership-oriented role for executive leaders.
  • Proven experience in leading HR teams and developing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong strategic mindset and ability to translate long-term strategy into short-term action plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Influencing/aligning strategy around talent capability and behaviors.
  • Ability to analyze complex HR data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to enhance ways to build our talent and skill capability at all levels; work across the organization to improve training and development, Ownership, career experiences, mentoring and rotations.
  • Work with leaders to actively lead and resolve performance issues proactively, minimizing any risk.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to inform business decisions and drive HR initiatives, including talent management and organizational design.
  • Provides budgeting oversight and control for people related ZBB packages.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure the team is equipped to deliver high quality support to the business.

Associate Director, HR- Procurement & Quality

The Associate Director, HR- Procurement & Quality is a key leadership role responsible for providing strategic HR leadership to the NA Chief Procurement and Sustainability Officer and VP, NA Quality and their leadership teams. This position’s main focus will be shaping and leading strategies centered around people development, talent pipeline, organization development and effectiveness, change management, and driving cultural transformation. This role leads a team of Sr. HR managers and sits on the NA Supply Chain and Procurement HR leadership team.

This is a Hybrid Position local to Chicago, IL (3 Days a week Onsite at Aon Center)

Principle Accountabilities
  • Own the talent and performance management process.

  • Analyze HR metrics and data to inform business decisions and drive HR initiatives, including talent management and organizational design.
  • Provides budgeting oversight and control for people related ZBB packages.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure the team is equipped to deliver high quality support to the business.

New Hire Base Salary Range

$164,200.00 - $205,200.00

Bonus

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
