Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking an experienced Portfolio & Productivity Leader to drive an integrated BU-centric productivity agenda across North America. You will partner with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to align and deliver productivity targets, reporting through monthly business cycles and the BU CFO office.

The role requires 5-8 years in FMCG, strong P&L and operational project knowledge, and exceptional collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering; MBA or masters in finance/operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and lead productivity strategy agenda within BU, including integrated planning with annual business cycles (3-year plan, 1-year plan) and productivity target setting linked changes in procurement and operations cost base and desired portfolio margin performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to build, launch, and successfully deliver portfolio productivity project pipeline (value engineering, PPA, CMA, in/out-sourcing, etc.).
  • Partner with BU CFO office and central FP&A team(s) to embed and maintain routine end-to-end productivity forecasting and reporting via monthly [BU] business cycles/routines.
  • Lead productivity reporting/review routine with central (regional) stakeholder leadership team and functional teams (Procurement, Operations) to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Maintain holistic visibility of in-year and future productivity pipeline at both BU and Platform (finished good category) level.
  • Proactively partner with relevant stakeholders, central finance, and growth office PMO to report on end-to-end portfolio performance
  • Co-lead AOP cycle to set and support productivity component of portfolio/category performance in partnership with BU CFO office, category finance teams, and portfolio GMs.
  • As necessary, lead ad-hoc internal/external assessments to determine portfolio margin competitiveness.

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Portfolio & Productivity Leader to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role of [BU] Portfolio Productivity Lead lies North America Region, and is responsible to lead an integrated, BU-centric productivity agenda to drive financial and strategic performance meeting best-in-class industry benchmarks. In this role you will act as a critical partner to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, leading the productivity agenda for [BU] and acting as a link between the BU team and functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, and successful delivery of the BU productivity agenda. Job Description

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering; MBA or masters in finance/operations is a plus.
  • Extensive project/program management experience in a large, matrixed organization
  • 5-8 years work experience in FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of P&L structure and drivers
  • Strong understanding of operational projects
  • Expert collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic mindset and ability to simplify the complex, with clear storytelling to executive level
  • Expert ability in Microsoft office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Communication Skills - People are easily be exposed to senior management, no matter their level. Therefore, it’s important to have excellent interpersonal skills, to take care of all kinds of different collaborators.
  • Confident / Ability to give pushback - We like people who are go getters and are not easily thrown off their game, not even when getting resistance.
  • Ability to Simplify - We like to keep it simple. And to implement fast. Your simplification skills will be highly appreciated, when providing simple solutions dealing with sophisticated challenges.

New Hire Base Salary Range

$141,500.00 - $176,900.00

Bonus:

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
