Job summary

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts seeks an Associate Director, Government Funding to own the end-to-end government fundraising function across city, state, and federal sources. You will lead strategy, agency relationships, and the most complex applications while overseeing post-award compliance and reporting.

The role requires advanced knowledge of government capital funding, Uniform Guidance, and procurement, with a track record in arts or cultural institutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of government grants experience, leading complex city, state, and federal applications.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Hands-on capital funding experience from application through drawdown and closeout.
• Familiarity with Uniform Guidance, MWBE, and procurement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own government fundraising strategy and annual revenue targets across operating and capital lines.
• Serve as agency liaison for funding streams and manage program officer relationships.
• Lead the full lifecycle for opportunities — narrative, budgets, certifications, and attachments.
• Oversee post-award execution, contracts, and internal recordkeeping.
• Ensure portfolio compliance, including reporting, reimbursements, and audits.
