Job summary

EyePoint's Manufacturing & Operations team in Northbridge, MA is seeking an Associate Director of Manufacturing to lead day-to-day operations, ensure cGMP compliance, and deliver on-time production with strong process improvements.

The role reports to the Sr. Director, Manufacturing & Technical Operations and partners with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Product Development to maintain inspection readiness and support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Operations Management, or related technical discipline required.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure product quality, compliance, on-time delivery, and efficiency.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with objectives, forecasts, and business goals.
• Manage and develop a team across multiple shifts with clear goals and performance metrics.
• Drive a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure activities comply with cGMP, approved procedures, quality systems, and regulatory expectations.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Planning to meet production schedules and material availability.
• Monitor metrics and implement improvements to increase throughput and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee investigations, deviations, CAPA, and regulatory readiness activities.
• Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and internal audits.
• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and technology transfers.
• Support process validation, equipment qualification, and facility expansion.
