Job summary

Scotiabank, Global Banking and Markets, seeks an Associate Director for Non-Bank Financial Institutions within Global Transaction Banking Sales in New York. You will oversee CFOs and treasurers, delivering deposit, cash management, and trade finance solutions through a global coverage model.

You will lead strategic client plans, partner with product and risk teams, and drive revenue growth across insurers, asset managers, and other financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in financial services, with transaction banking exposure.
• University degree; Master’s degree preferred; CFA/CTP considered an asset.
• Knowledge of transaction banking products, liquidity, cash management, and working capital.
• Proven negotiation, active listening, and client relationship skills.
• Experience communicating to executive audiences; CRM tooling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deepen client relationships and expand revenue with GTB products.
• Lead new business development and manage client portfolios.
• Serve as primary relationship contact for CFOs/treasurers with integrated solutions.
• Coordinate with product partners on client-led roundtables, webinars, and events.
• Ensure end-to-end client experience with cross-functional collaboration.
