Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director, Business Operations, Quality Control to lead governance, portfolio management, and operating cadences for the Global Quality Control organization. You will partner with executives to align strategic initiatives, coordinate cross-functional planning across QC, Supply Chain, Engineering, and more, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will drive executive dashboards, performance reporting, and lifecycle governance while shaping the roadmap

Qualifications

8+ years in business operations, manufacturing operations, strategy, consulting, program management, or operational excellence in life sciences.
Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience establishing governance frameworks and portfolio management processes.
Strong business and financial acumen with executive reporting experience.
Experience developing executive presentations and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead governance, operating cadences, and business planning processes for disciplined execution.
Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting for portfolio health.
Communicate strategic updates to Executive leadership.
Establish governance frameworks and portfolio management processes prioritizing initiatives.
Partner with Finance to develop business cases, financial analyses, and value realization plans.
Coordinate cross-functional planning across QC, Supply Chain, Engineering, CMC Digital, Quality, and Site Leadership.
Translate best practices across Global QC, INT QC and Operations to drive improvements.
Prepare executive communications and strategic updates for governance forums.
Monitor portfolio performance and risks; recommend actions to accelerate outcomes.
Lead annual objectives, strategic priorities, and resource planning.
Own and drive a comprehensive Global QC roadmap including compliance and digital improvements.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and translate into ROI gains.
