Job summary

Summit Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Supply Management to guide global clinical supply chain operations across demand planning, inventory, packaging, labeling, distribution and compliance. The role acts as a deputy to the Senior Director and leads a team to deliver compliant, on-time study supply worldwide.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc, engineering or pharmacy degree with 8+ years in pharma supply chain.
• Experience leading international clinical studies and supply chains.
• People-management experience with coaching and talent development.
• Ability to translate strategy into priorities, metrics and outcomes.
• Strong QA, GMP and regulatory knowledge for IMP and commercial packaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional strategy, operating plans, budgets and governance.
• Lead day-to-day execution for studies, forecast, supply planning and logistics.
• Delegate for Senior Director in cross-functional forums and issue escalation.
• Manage and develop direct reports, set objectives and coach performance.
• Oversee CDMO and service-provider activities from RFP to performance.
• Support IXRS setup, UAT and ongoing performance.
• Drive continuous improvement with KPIs, dashboards and risk management.
• Ensure GMP compliance, regulatory submissions and SOP adherence.
• Provide leadership continuity and cover additional function responsibilities.
