Job summary

MSD is seeking an Associate Director, Data Collection Data Steward within the Global Data Management and Standards (GDMS) and Global Clinical Data Standards (GCDS). The role provides program-level oversight of data standards, guiding study teams on library use and first-line governance while advancing new/modified standards and business processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with at least 15 years of clinical data management or standards experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of clinical data management or standards experience.
• Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) with at least 4 years of clinical data management or standards experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain standard data collection definitions aligned with industry standards and regulations across the clinical lifecycle.
• Lead organizational initiatives and participate in governance forums as needed.
• Support audits and inspections as required.
• Provide training and mentoring to the Global Clinical Data Standards team.
• Engage with industry forums to influence data standards development.
• Oversee data collection, transformation design, and data modeling within Therapeutic Areas.
