AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director, Capital Projects to partner with VP-level stakeholders to shape global procurement strategies and lead a management team to deliver ambitious targets. You will develop strategic plans, drive cost savings, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

You will oversee end-to-end procurement, drive category strategies with suppliers, integrate ESG considerations, and manage risk while collaborating across functions to create sustainable value for AbbVie.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 7–10 years in capital projects procurement or related roles.
• Experience leading category teams and influencing senior leaders.
• Strong ability to deliver high-impact executive-level deliverables.
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge is highly preferred.
• Expertise in market analysis, cost/financial assessment, and strategy.
• Fluency in negotiation and competitive bidding.
• Proven change management and project execution skills.
• Excellent internal stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Strategic thinker with accountability and strong communication.
• Resilience and autonomous work ethic in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with VP-level stakeholders to develop global procurement strategies.
• Develop a comprehensive annual strategic plan for the category.
• Lead a cross-functional team to achieve performance targets.
• Drive SRM strategies and supplier collaboration for innovation.
• Integrate ESG measures into category strategies.
• Manage end-to-end procurement process from sourcing to contract.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization using data analytics.
• Mentor and coach Managers; align staffing with business goals.
