Job summary

Raytheon Technologies, located in Andover, MA, seeks an Associate Director, Factory Operations Manager to oversee semiconductor wafer back-side processing and resonator fabrication. You will lead a high-performing team, drive productivity, and implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and quality.

You will coordinate with production, engineering, and quality to meet schedules, expand capacity, and optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Prior management or leadership experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Production, Semiconductor, and/or Quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-side processing and saw crystal resonator fabrication operations to meet production schedules and objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance manufacturing performance and reduce cycle times.
• Act as liaison between production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams for alignment with goals.
• Identify strategies to improve efficiency, optimize workflows, and minimize downtime.
• Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles (CORE, Six Sigma, 6S, Kaizen).
• Plan and execute capacity expansion, including new equipment and technologies.
• Monitor equipment utilization and production throughput while upholding quality standards.
• Lead customer engagements, program reviews, and EAC reviews.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and development of employees in processes and safety.
