Job summary

You will partner with the Director and firm leadership to develop strategies, manage awards, and oversee communications across industries driving the innovation economy. Strong media relations, writing, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct communications experience with 4+ years in management.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Experience with crisis and issues management communications.
• Strong media relationships with national print, broadcast, and online outlets.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of communications professionals.
• Develop strategies to support firm priorities and markets.
• Oversee awards and recognitions program for the department.
• Write and edit press materials and talking points.
• Advise leadership on media strategy and crisis communications.
• Serve as media spokesperson for inquiries.
• Develop messaging and responses for external communications.
