Job summary

RAPP New York is recruiting an Associate Director, Experience Strategy to lead the Experience Strategy team in delivering high-impact CRM and journey strategies for world-class brands. You will oversee strategic initiatives, guide junior strategists, and collaborate across agencies to craft data-driven, personalized experiences that drive client growth.

The role requires a strong background in CRM/CXM, strategic planning in an agency setting, and the ability to present strategic recommendations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic planning at an agency, CRM/CXM and/or digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and ability to develop a strategic plan for a campaign.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and creating PowerPoint/Keynote presentations.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of strategic initiatives and deliverables for clients.
  • Create communication strategies/CRM strategies to identify, capture, and nurture customers across the entire decision-making process.
  • Work collaboratively in an interagency team model to build customer experience programs leveraging multiple channels.
  • Develop content strategies to personalize at scale and engage different customer types.
  • Distill research into customer beliefs, attitudes, and barriers to build personas and journeys.
  • Unearth insights to fuel strategic plans and briefs.
  • Guide junior strategist roles with knowledge and expertise.
  • Lead the creative briefing process and partner with Creative teams to inspire work.
  • Identify needs for current state analyses including market and competitive analyses.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Sciences to develop learning agendas and data opportunities.
  • Partner with vendors to ensure strategic consistency across programs.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Unearth novel insights that fuel strategic plans and briefs.

  • Guide team of more junior strategist roles with your knowledge and expertise.

  • Lead the creative briefing process and partner with Creative team to inspire great work.

  • Identify the need to initiate current state analyses including but not limited to market analyses and competitive analyses.

  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Sciences team to develop learning agendas, leverage data and data architecture and explore opportunities for data capture optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with other vendors and agency partners to ensure strategic consistency across program elements.

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position. New York: $115,000 - $138,000


Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
