UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Engineer to join our GOTO Technology team in Nashville, TN.

About the Role

• Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services for clients and employees.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and help shape the evolution of our systems.
• Apply diverse software engineering practices, including analyzing user needs, developing features, automated testing, and deployment.
• Ensure solutions meet quality, security, reliability, and compliance standards by applying digital principles and requirements.
• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, resolve incidents, and address root causes of risks and issues.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as an Associate Director, Software Engineer, or similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Backend development with Java Spring Boot, J2EE.
• Experience with REST, Azure Cloud, Confluent, Kafka, Streaming, Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Microservices development.
• API design and implementation, messaging technologies like Kafka.
• Database experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Remote work capability.
