The Impact You Will Make

We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director/Director, Global Forecasting, to join our Commercial Operations and Analytics team. This role involves developing forecasting tools and processes, acting as a strategic partner across various departments, and supporting our pipeline and portfolio planning. Remote candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain forecasting models, including scenario planning and risk assessments.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish forecast recommendations and document assumptions.
3. Develop global long-range forecasting models in partnership with internal teams.
4. Integrate insights from market performance, research, and competitive landscape into forecasts.
5. Evaluate and recommend forecasting techniques, and evolve best practices.
6. Design secondary and primary market research studies to validate forecasts.
7. Support valuation of potential business development opportunities in partnership with Business Development and Corporate Strategy.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in market research, forecasting, strategic planning, or management consulting; biotech experience preferred.
• Expertise in building dynamic forecast models in Excel and strong data analytics skills.
• Knowledge of secondary data sources, including sales and payer data; biotech industry experience preferred.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and defending forecasts.
• Experience in rare/genetically defined diseases is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Work Location

Flexible: remote within the US or hybrid in Cambridge, MA. Hybrid schedule generally less than 3 days onsite. Remote employees may need to travel for company events.
