The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director/Director, Global Forecasting, to join our Commercial Operations and Analytics team. This role involves leading forecasting tools and processes, collaborating with various stakeholders, and supporting pipeline and portfolio planning. The ideal candidate is strategic, organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. Remote candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain forecasting models, including scenario planning and risk assessments.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish forecast recommendations and document assumptions and risks.
  3. Manage global long-range forecasting models in partnership with internal teams.
  4. Integrate insights from market performance, research, and competitive landscape into forecasts.
  5. Evaluate and apply appropriate forecasting techniques, refining best practices.
  6. Design secondary and primary market research to validate forecasts.
  7. Support valuation of potential business development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6-8 years in market research, forecasting, strategic planning, or management consulting; biotech experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in building dynamic Excel models and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of secondary data sources, including sales and payer data.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and defending forecasts.
  • Experience with rare/genetically defined diseases is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
