Job summary

DESRI is seeking a Digital Infrastructure Development Associate or Associate Director to advance its digital infrastructure initiatives within the Development & Origination team, alongside its solar and storage portfolio across U.S. power markets.

The role combines commercial judgment and analytical ability with project development experience, covering large-load opportunities, grid interconnection, and potential acquisitions, working across multiple internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with digital infrastructure, large-load customers, and power markets.
• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy project development from inception to operation.
• Understanding of power purchase agreements, storage tolling, and offtake.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, conferences, and site visits.
• Compensation knowledge: base salary range stated as $140,000–$160,000.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with digital infrastructure customers and utilities.
• Lead project development at sites with large-load applications and coordinate across teams.
• Perform land/site diligence and translate results into plans and risk mitigation.
• Identify opportunities with data centers and large-load customers affecting generation/storage.
• Support project and portfolio acquisitions including due diligence and market analysis.
• Collaborate with Development, Strategy, M&A, Finance, Legal, and Engineering through transaction execution.
