Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior data management leader to own the Account and Master Data Management (MDM) program for healthcare organizational data. You will oversee data quality, governance, and the end-to-end data lifecycle across systems, partnering with IT and business teams to deliver a single source of truth.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data management within pharma or life sciences, strong BI skills, and experience with Informatica and Reltio.

Qualifications

• BA/BS undergraduate degree or equivalent in Business, Technology, Analytics or Health Sciences is required.
• 7+ years of experience in data management, analytics, insights or other commercial excellence areas within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proficiency in data sources/products and pharma industry syndicated/secondary data from IQVIA, Veeva, Definitive Healthcare, AHA, AMA, and MedPro.
• Strong analytical toolkit, including modern business intelligence tools and infrastructure for managing large data.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Proven project management results in cross-functional technology projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability and business/data analysis focused on MDM operational processes across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Experience with MDM toolsets such as Informatica and Reltio.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to simplify complex technical issues.
• Customer focus, relationship building, issue identification and resolution, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Ability to apply policies and standards consistently.
• Vendor management experience with outsourced stewardship teams.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI is preferred.

Job description

• Manage and implement customer master and reference data management for JJIM


• Manage data specifications associated with customer and vendor data


• Guide local and vendor resources in standard master data management processes, tools, and business rules


• Manage data inventory and infrastructure to ensure data quality and appropriate organizational use


• Act as subject matter expert on Customer Master Data and Platform opportunities


• Govern business rules and manage the process for changes and enhancements


• Provide regular communications on data quality status


• Manage Healthcare Organizational relationships and Healthcare Professional affiliations


• Partner with IT and business partners to resolve data issues and support complex data initiatives


• Support data acquisition and contracting and ensure value from data-related investments


• Own the Account Data Product as the source of truth for Healthcare Organizational Account data
