Job description

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

As an Associate Director-Credit/Collections your tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives.
  • This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management.
  • Leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization.
  • Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Risk and Collections Management: Assess and monitor the creditworthiness of clients, approving or declining credit applications based on thorough analysis. Develop and execute effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding credit policies. Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collections performance to senior management.
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee and lead the credit and collections team, ensuring staff are well‑trained, motivated, and working efficiently. Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize departmental performance.
  • Training and Professional Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the credit and collections team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Maintain high levels of customer service, ensure compliance with relevant laws, manage external agency relationships, and evaluate technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Our Associate Director-Credit/Collections earns between $106,100 - $159,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
