Job summary

Fitch Group in New York seeks an experienced US Corporates – Credit Analyst, Associate Director for the Retail & Consumer sector. Based in New York, you will lead quantitative and qualitative analysis, develop financial models and present findings to internal committees.

The role requires a Bachelor's plus MBA or advanced degree a plus, CFA/CPA preferred, 4+ years' experience in Retail & Consumer, strong Excel/Word skills, and a collaborative, high-performing mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• CFA/CPA preferred.
• 4+ years relevant experience including Retail & Consumer sectors; capital markets/credit analysis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the credit quality of Retail & Consumer companies using quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and present findings to committees.
• Meet with industry management teams and communicate rating rationale to stakeholders.
• Write timely research on topical issues and participate in credit evaluations.
• Mentor junior staff; may include managerial responsibilities.
