The Nature Conservancy is seeking an Associate Director of Development (CFR) to cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate and foundation donors. You will lead a CFR team, coordinate a 60–120 donor portfolio, and drive multi-year strategies to reach a $1,000,000–$2,000,000 annual goal.

You’ll work with conservation staff, leadership, and finance partners, travel as needed, and leverage senior leadership engagement, proposals, and site visits to secure large gifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents.
• Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $25,000 or more.
• Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of current fundraising principles and practices.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of 60–120 donors with the capacity to give over $100,000.
• Lead CFR team pipeline process and coordinate the team’s donor strategies.
• Develop and implement multi-year donor strategies with engagement from leadership and senior staff.
• Travel periodically and be flexible with hours as needed.
